Homemade Hummus

It's hard not to love this delicious dip. Hummus can be expensive at the store but is extremely easy to make and tastes even better from scratch! Try it once and you'll be hard pressed to ever buy it from the store again!

Ingredients:

2 cans Garbanzo beans (drained)
fresh lemon juice to taste
3+ cloves garlic
2 Tb. Tahini
1/2 tsp cumin (or to taste)
roasted red pepper to taste
paprika to taste
cliantro to taste

Combine ingredients in food processor until smooth.  Drizzle about 1 Tb. olive oil on top. Garnish with paprika and fresh parsley or cilantro.

Serve with naan, pita chips, bread or crackers

Our Tip:
  • If the mixture is too thick, add plain yogurt or juice from garbanzo beans to thin and smooth it out
